May the 4th be with you! Yes, It’s May 4th… the beginning of the lovely month of May! And today, it just so happens to be Saturday, May 4th.  A popular date for weddings for Star Wars enthusiasts, taken from the line: May the 4th/Force Be with You.  And in this year, 2019, May 4th is a Saturday! How about that?!?  Perfect for a Saturday wedding. As many weddings do occur on Saturday evenings.

The picture I posted here are the shoes that the bride wore from a wedding I photographed with a  Star Wars theme. Fabulous, right? So fun! This wedding was held at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, a beautiful spot for a May wedding, and highly recommended.  They even have a lovely indoor setting in case of inclement weather.

As we kick off this first weekend in May, we have so many wonderful celebrations to look forward to on our calendars.. from weddings, to graduations, and beyond!  Tis’ the season! The green grass has returned in Minnesota. For lo the winter has passed… and the polar vortex is no more.  We rejoice!

This weekend is also the infamous Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo. Not to mention Ramadan beginning at sunset on Sunday. What are you celebrating?

So many celebrations.  I wish you the very best of it all. Celebrate heartedly!
